About conference

Dear Collegues,

June 3-4, 2021 Ufa will host the XI East-West International Conference on Ophthalmology. From year to year Ufa becomes a gathering place for ophthalmologists from all over the world. We have participants from Easten and Westen countries: Europe, America, Asia and Africa. We can justifiably be proud of the sincere interest in our Symposium.

Online events are not only the demand of the times, but as the recent web meetings showed are the most comfortable way for speakers and participants to take part in many scientific and educational events from home or work thousands kilometers away from the venue.

Therefore we invite you to join us in the heart of Eurasia - Ufa to hold East–West International Conference on Ophthalmology together. We will discuss the latest news from the world of ophthalmology, share our latest achievements in science and clinic.

It is gratifying that 2021 will be our anniversary year:

·145th anniversary of the birth of Professor V. P. Odintsov, the founder and the first Director of the Ufa Eye Research Institute.

·135th anniversary of the founding of the Ufa department of the Guardianship for blind people of Empress Maria Aleksandrovna 

·120th anniversary of the opening of the Ufa Eye Hospital

·95th anniversary of the opening of the Ufa Eye Research Institute.

The Organizing Committee of the Conference is preparing a lot of new and interesting things so that this anniversary year will remain in the memory of each of you. We will try our best to make our Conference memorable for our participants and organize it in high level again!
